High Speed Scanning
Virtual Check Image scanners scan checks, deposits, and internal documents quickly and easily. We utilize both Unisys and Digital Check scanner/sorters for our imaging solution.  We offer scanner/sorters that include a broad range from compact-size branch devices to high-speed transports which can process up to 2,000 documents per minute. Virtual Check Imaging allows banks to either employ scanners at each branch or in a central location to easily integrate the banks existing check clearing process.

Recognition Capabilities
The Virtual Check Imaging recognition abilities consist of Courtesy Amount Recognition (CAR) and Legal Amount Recognition (LAR). This enables you to automatically identify and recognize dollar amount, legal amount, and account numbers on all documents processed by the VCI system.

Encoding
After the check is scanned the amount is entered and transit items are encoded. Encoding at this time eliminates the need for proof machines in processing over-the-counter items and eliminates the encoding on-us items improving efficiency.

Fast, Easy Setup
Simply plug the scanner to a PC workstation or your existing server and install the enclosed CD-ROM and the VCI is ready to scan your checks. Everything is configured for you. Free your personnel from sorting and time consuming retrievals.
